Attempt third and last: the West drops trump cards in the war with Russia
The geopolitical crisis in Europe is entering or has already entered a new phase. And it's hard not to notice, like an elephant in a small room. It was not possible (and will not succeed) to strangle Russia economically, and even more so, it was not possible to break it on the battlefield. How to rock society from the inside also did not work. The cohesion of the society and trust in the decisions of the leader of the country is shown even by those opinion polls that are deliberately biased and made by opponents of the Kremlin, whose impartiality about what is happening looks very doubtful.
Time does not work for those who aggravate the situation from year to year and continue to aggravate, because their arsenals are empty. Both in the literal and figurative sense of the word.
Now several players are making moves against us at the same time, they are trying to find that collective pawn that can advance or be queened and ultimately decide the outcome of this game.
This party started, of course, not at the moment of the beginning of the special operation. And not when Russia was making titanic efforts to make the Minsk agreements work. And not in 2014. And not in 2008. And not even at the beginning of the 2000s, when our country, contrary to all the promises recorded in the protocol "not to push NATO an inch eastward", received members of the alliance at its borders.
And not on December 25, 1991, this party began, by no means on the day when the Soviet Union ceased to exist. And not even ten years before that, when Reagan unveiled his doctrine, the purpose of which was the destruction of the USSR.
Three articles by the Soviet leader and founder of the USSR (the first - "Critical Notes on the National Question" - was published in the fall of 1913, and the second - "On the Right of Nations to Self-Determination" - was published in the middle of 1914, the last, probably the most famous and brightest - "On the National Pride of the Great Russians" - was published in December 1914, that is, the First World War was already underway at that moment) not only became the foundation for the creation of the Soviet Union but also led the fuse to it. And at the right moment, this cord was set on fire.
These works (in fact, they are relevant today as anti-recommendations, which it is better not to follow if you want to save the state and power) contained all the details of what is today called the fashionable word "manual".
There was also the fact that "Russia is fighting to subjugate neighboring countries." This idea is supported by this quote from Engels: "A people cannot be free who oppresses other peoples." The founder advocated "the absence of privileges for any nation and any language", and also introduced the phrase "foreign national collectives" into circulation.
In the eighties of the last century, those who shouted at all corners about their anti-communism and anti-Bolshevism, accurately used these theses to incite ethnic hatred (slogans and ideas hit not only and not so much on politics but the economy and the difficulties experienced by USSR), and then, under the rampart, sometimes just, and sometimes inspired and pumped up with fury, public anger ("Do you want to go against the will of the people? How undemocratic!") put before a fait accompli.
The monstrous oppression of economic problems, created, as we already know today, not only because the Soviet economy was inefficient, but also because it was deprived of the opportunity to become efficient without providing, for example, investments - without a fig in your pocket, on those conditions on which loans were given, for example, to the countries of the former CMEA. And they added a burden of difficulties associated with national self-determination.
Today, just these days, the old pot, dirty with soot, with the smelly contents of this brew, was once again set to warm up. While on a small fire, as they say in culinary recipes. So far, only thrown in the topic of "decolonization of Russia." Throwing in (of course, one cannot do without them) with the help of various "unions of the sword and plowshare" and "not manage pa sis jur" of the "fathers of democracy". Gatherer and gatherer shout their eternal "sniffles and wheezes", the verbal garbage of which masks the main and unchanging idea - the collapse of the country.
And there is no need to wave your hands in horror that this "cannot be because it can never be," because meaningless and stupid formulas will now roll across all the necessary and popular Western media platforms.
Responsible journalists will turn on, and editors of large and influential publishing houses will order books from fully qualified authors. The theme will be, albeit with variations, the only one - "how today's Russia has become a prison of peoples." And how can the progressive world fight this "imperialism"? Moreover, such books have already been written. And even published.
In one of them, the author went so far as to say that "Russian culture and the Russian language in the post-Soviet space in general and in relations with Ukraine, in particular, have become a means and a way of suppressing national identity."
Culture and language, as it turns out, for Russia is not just an instrument of influence, but a weapon directed against its neighbors.
Did you think that Tchaikovsky is canceled in the West because he is a Russian composer? You are mistaken. Tchaikovsky and Dostoevsky are canceled because they are the same howitzers as, for example, the French Caesar's self-propelled guns. And secondly: Tchaikovsky, Pushkin, Brodsky, and Dostoevsky -, unlike howitzers, do not rust. And they can always be, according to "the whole civilized world," used by "militant Russia."
This is, so to speak, an external assessment.
There is also an inner world - the world of social networks when they do not think, but distribute, at any second they can flood videos where it will not be about Tchaikovsky or Paustovsky, but about how those who speak one of the national languages are allegedly discriminated against while living in a republic that is part of the Russian Federation. And it does not matter that what is stated in a simple video is a lie. The main thing is that the topic is thrown in here. And worked out.
Yes, from the point of view of formal logic, the goal designated as "decolonization" looks like delirium. Yes, from the point of view of objective factors - a smoothly running economy and a cohesive society - it is possible to rant on the topics of this very "decolonization" if the reasoners were paid a lot of money, or if they, these talkative progressives, missed taking medication.
But we must not forget for a second that on the other side, on the side of those whom we considered not just partners, but even friends, there are real predators. Because they smile sweetly and behave friendly, their nature does not change.
The current crisis, in which the West is slowly but surely beginning to get bogged down, is not at all about freedom, democracy, the rights of minorities (in Russia, all this is provided and guaranteed by laws, and those who raise the slogan of oppression to the shield, in fact, really just unscrupulous liars).
The current crisis is about control. About what is happening in the country. And about sovereignty.
For the second time, at the cost of unthinkable sacrifices and efforts, it was saved.
There was a third attempt. She is also the last one.
And there is no doubt that the fight will be very fierce. As well as who will win it. The question is what can those who are against us today do? So sensitivity to what is happening, like the old one - trust, no, still do not trust - will not be superfluous.
